Today, important developments unfolded in the legal case surrounding its protection, with Dudley, Elizabeth, and Amos representing the Petitioners in court for a mention regarding directions on Petition No. E001 of 2024. Orders Issued by the Court (Nov 2024)
- Witness Statements & Affidavits Any party wishing to respond to the Petition has been directed to file their witness statements and replying affidavits within 30 days. This provides an opportunity for all involved parties to present their evidence and positions in preparation for the hearing.
- Petitioners’ Rejoinder The substantive parties (Petitioners) must file their rejoinder within 21 days following the submission of the respondents’ affidavits and statements. This will ensure that the Petitioners have a chance to address any new points raised.
- Pretrial Conference A pretrial conference has been scheduled to take place in person on 6th February 2025 at 9:00 AM. This session will allow all parties to discuss procedural issues and finalize preparations for the hearing.
